DJ AM whose real name is Adam Goldstein has died at the age of 36. DJ AM is best known for being in the rockband Crazy Town, and their hit “Butterfly”, he also scratched albums for  Papa Roach, Madonna, Will Smith, and Shifty and played concerts with Jay-Z. Adam also played private parties for many celebrities and had a one year contract with Pure Night Club in Las Vegas. DJ AM and Travis Barker also survived a plane crash just less than a year ago where four people died. He was found today in his New York City apartment shirtless with sweats on face down after a friend went to check on him because he hadn’t been heard from for a few days. Some prescription pills and a “crack pipe” were also found in the apartment. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend and sources say he was devastated over the split. DJ AM also suffered from post traumatic stress following the plane crash. Details on the cause of death have not yet been released. This is such a sad and tragic story.

Playmate of the year 2008 Jayde Nicole and boyfriend Brody Jenner were celebrating Brody’s birthday at Hollywood hotspot Guys and Dolls last night. Jayde saw Joe Francis founder of “Girls Gone Wild” harassing an ex girlfriend of his and apparently threw a drink on him. Joe then grabbed Jayde by the hair, punched her in the face and then threw her to the ground and kicked her. Security broke up the fight and tossed Jenner and Francis out of the club. Jenner tried to get back into the club to check on his girlfriend Jayde, he then saw Francis and punched him in the face. Jenner was then tased by an unknown person and he collapsed. Jayde showed her injuries to a TMZ cameraman which include a swollen face, bruised cheek and rib, and sore lower abdomen. Jayde plans to press charges, no word yet on Joe’s side of the story. Joe Francis is a convited felon.

In the past couple of months we have been hearing that Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes were having an affair. At first it seems they tried to deny it, but now LeAnn split with her husband Dean Sheremet and Eddie filed for divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville today. Eddie and LeAnn first flaunted their relationship just days ago when they were seen golfing together. Brandi has been very open in slamming them to the tabloids. In the divorce documents Eddie cites irreconcilable differences and he is seeking custody of their two sons Mason 6, and Jake 2. He is also seeking spousal support from her.

Chris Brown was formally sentenced today August 25,2009 in a Los Angeles courtroom. He will have to do 180 days of community labor, one year of domestic abuse counseling and also five years of probation. During the next five years he must also stay away from Rihanna, despite Rihanna wanting the restraining order lifted the judge chose to keep it in place. The judge also insenuated that she had heard of the possiblity that him and Rihanna had secret meetings and then asked him if he understood that he will have to stay 100 yards from Rihanna or if they are attending the same entertainment event he must be 10 yards away from her, Chris replied “yes” that he understood the restraining order. He will be allowed to do his community labor and domestic abuse counseling in his homestate of Virginia. In the courtroom he wore a dark pin striped suit and remained stern throughout. He will also have to pay a number of fees and fines and may be subjected to random search and seizures. Do you think this sentencing is severe enough? Should the restraining order have been lifted because Rihanna requested it?

Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009 in his rented mansion in Holmby Hills CA and his death has been ruled as a homicide. His death was caused by a lethal dose of the powerful drug propofol. The coroner made this assesment after the toxicology results of the autopsy of Michael. Propofol is an anesthetic agent typically used in the operating room to put patients to sleep in about 1 minute. Jackson’s doctor at the time of his death was Conrad Murray. Murray said he had been treating Michael for insomnia for the past six weeks and was giving him 50 milligrams of propofol every night using an intravenous drip. Since Michael’s death has been ruled as homicide I wonder if Murray will have to serve some time? Do you think this is fair considering Jackson was the addict requesting these drugs?

Paulina Chmielecka is the ex fiance of Ryan Jenkins whom he dated for 3 years. She may be the woman who helped Ryan run from the authorities by driving him to and paying for the motel room where his body was found. The manager of the motel Kevin Walker saw the picture of Paulina and believes 100 percent that it is the same woman. Ryan had called off the engagement with Paulina months ago and friends of the couple say she was very in love with him but has moved on. Cops are saying this is not the woman they are looking for despite the motel managers claim.

Kourtney Kardashian 30,recently revealed that she is 5 months pregnant and due sometime in December. Everyone was wondering who the father was since the previews for her new reality show “Kourney And Khloe Take Miami” described the sisters as single. Kourney revealed a few days after the announcement that ex boyfriend Scott Disick 26, is in fact the father and that the two are working on their relationship. She said the pregnancy was a shock and that she took 20 pregnancy tests before getting it confirmed by the doctor. Kourtney also revealed that she did agonize over the decision as to wether have the baby or not and that Scott was supportive either way. After scouring the internet and reading stories of people who had abortions and all the guilt they felt Kourney made the decision to have the baby. She felt that it was meant to be and God had given her this baby for a reason. Kourtney has done a good job at hiding her baby bump for all of these months! This picture is one of the first I have seen where you can actually tell that she is pregnant! Congrats to her and Scott!

For some very odd reason Heidi Montag was asked to perform at the Miss Universe Pageant. It was awful and embarassing for her! The dancing was horrendous and she was obviously lip synching. Heidi is trying to be like Britney Spears, and were sorry Heidi but it just won’t happen! NBC blocked out much of her performance!  You are awful and you should just go back to “The Hills”!

The body of reality contestant Ryan Jenkins 32, who apppeared in “Megan Wants A Millionaire” has been found in a motel in Hope Canada in an apparent suicide.  A nationwide manhunt had been launched after his wife Jasmine Fiore’s body was found mutilated in a suitcase that had been dumped in a trash can. Her teeth and fingers were missing to apparently hide the identity of the body. She was identified through the serial number of her breast implants. Ryan Jenkins was found hanging by a belt in the Thunderbird Motel. A woman had checked out the room for three days while a man waited in a silver PT Cruiser. The motel clerk found the body of Jenkins when no one checked out of the room on the third day. Jenkins mother claims he is innocent and that the media attention must have been too much for him to handle. The couple had only been married a short time and then divorced but later reunited. They checked into a San Diego hotel together on August 13. Ryan was seen leaving alone and Jasmine was never seen alive again.

Heidi Montag “Pratt” is set to perform at the Miss Universe Pageant being held at Atlantis Paradise in the Bahamas. Although some are skeptical as to wether or not the performance will really happen. Pageant staffers have been making bets that it may not, stating Heidi cannot dance and can’t even remember the words to her own songs! This performance could be a total train wreck! TLC, the station responsible for the “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ show is growing tired of Jon Gosselin just like his soon to be ex wife Kate Gosselin is. They are tired of him wearing his Ed Hardy clothing on the show to try and score and endorsement deal with the clothing line. TLC now blurs out his brand logos! This all comes after Jon has been actively searching for endorsement deals and has even gone as far as hanging out with man behind the clothing line more than once. TLC feels as if they are being used by Jon and I think they may be right, seems this couple in turmoil will do anything to make a buck these days! What do you think of the Jon & Kate drama?

Asthon Kutcher and wife Demi Moore had quite the scare on Thursday August 6, 2009. They were leaving Las Vegas after attending the premiere of Ashton’s new movie “Spread” en route to New York when their plane had to make an emergency landing back to Las Vegas. The engine had overheated and fire trucks were onsite when they landed. The couple took to their twitter accounts to tell about the scare Ashton said “My plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire engines everywhere good times.” And Demi said “Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all,”. Talk about scarey! Glad they are safe!

Paula Abdul will not be returning to Season 9 of American Idol. She took to her twitter account to say “With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to Idol. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenom”. Kara DioGuardi has renewed her contract and will be returning, so it looks like the show is back down to three judges. Fox did not want to give Paula the pay raise she was requesting. We will miss you Paula!

Jason Wahler, whom you may remember from MTV’s  ”Laguna Beach” or as Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend on “The Hills” was recently involved in a drunken scuffle.  Jason was partying at the Ocean Avenue Brewery when he got himself kicked out of the bar. He found his way back in only to be kicked out again and rebelled by firing his shoes back into the bar and punching a security guard.  Jason is still on probation for another drunken arrest  in 2007 where he yelled out racial and homophobic slurs to Seattle police officers and punched a security officer there as well. Even after going to rehab looks like Jason has still not learned a lesson!
