Playmate of the Year 2008 Jayde Nicole and boyfriend Brody Jenner of over a year have called it quits. A source close to the couple claims “they did break up.” Jayde pretty much confirmed the split when she took to her twitter account saying “Sometimes when you truly love someone you have to let them go…I never really understood that quote until now.” Meanwhile Brody had been in Australia for work since December 11. These two seem to break up and get back together a lot! I wonder what was the final straw was!

Carrie Underwood and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher announced their engagement today Monday December 21. The two became engaged yesterday a rep for the singer confirms. “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” the former American Idol’s rep told MTV News. “No wedding date has been set at this time.” Mike Fisher plays for the Ottawa Senators. Carrie had even mentioned her boyfriend in her hit song Play On “Thank you #12,” she wrote about Fisher, referring to his jersey number. “You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day. … xoxo, Carrie.” Carrie had spoke of the relationship being the longest one that she had ever had and that her and Fisher had managed to keep it out of the public eye. The two will not move in together until they are married. Congrats to them!

This morning around 8:00 a.m. Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest at the age of 32. A 911 call was made from a home in Los Angeles belonging to her husband Simon Monjack. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and pronounced dead on arrival. So sad she was so young and talented. It is not yet known what caused the movie star to go into cardiac arress. Reality tv star Kourtney Kardashian from Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s and boyfriend Scott Disick have welcomed a baby boy into their family. She gave birth to Mason Dash Disick on Monday and are so excited to share the news. Sister Kim and Mom Kris later appeared on “Chelsea Lately” after the birth and said they were wearing the same outfits they had worn to the hospital and “We have to think of another name [besides grandma]. This is getting crazy. We’re really, really excited and it’s been an amazing evening,” Kris said. “[Mason]‘s in my dressing room — is that wrong?” Congratulations to Kourtney and Scott!

Reality star Kendra Wilkinson and NFL hubby Hank Baskett now have a baby Hank in the family. Hank Baskett was born on December 10, 2009 and weighed 9lbs 5 oz. Girls Next Door Bridget Marquardt broke the news via twitter saying “Well…its official. Kendras baby is born…little Hank is here! 9lbs 5oz…WOW! Congrats to Kendra and Hank!”

The daytime talk show The View has now apologized after one of the ladies referred to Tiger’s mistress Rachel Uchitel as a hooker. Joy Behar had made the remark and The View released a statement that it was a joke. Rachel’s lawyer Gloria Allred was demanding an apology and so they did just that. They also stated that they apologize for any hurt feelings or misimpressions. It looks like their will be an on air retraction but it will probaby be monday.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and football star Tom Brady added a new addition to their family. Gisele gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday and Brady called it “the most wonderful expereince of my life.” The baby does not yet have a name but Brady said that the baby and Gisele are both in good health. The baby boy is the first child for Gisele 29 and is the second for Brady who has a two year old son with Bridget Moynahan. Congratulations to them!

It is being reported that Tiger Woods’ mistress Rachel Uchitel was upset when she found out that the golf pro was linked to other women. According to one of Rachel’s friends “Rachel was mad at Tiger when she found out about the other girls and did not speak to him for three days, but he texted her…She is telling friends that he doesn’t blame her for this all getting out.” The source also said that
“Rachel has strong feelings for Tiger. She was very into him – much more than other famous guys she was into. She started out for sport and then they clicked.” Tiger and his wife have been holed up in thier Florida mansion and are reported receiving marriage counserling several times per day. It is also being said that the prenup is being renogotiated and that she will receive 5 million dollars now into a private account and 55 million if she stays with him for two more years.
