Johnson & Johnson Heiress Casey Johnson Dies Alone

Heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune Casey Johnson was found dead in her West Hollywood pad by a maid. No one had heard from the socialite for seven days, the last anyone had heard was on December 29 at 1:12 a.m. when Casey tweeted “Sweet dreams everyone, I’m getting a new car.” Casey was a diabetic with a drinking and alcohol problem and has ended up in rehab more than once. She was most recently in the news when she announced her engagement to Tila Tequila. Casey also had a daughter named Ava, now 3, who she had adopted from now Kazakhstan early in 2007. Friends of Casey say her life started spiraling even more out of control when her mother Sale Johnson took custody of Casey’s baby. She had gone to New York to get her daughter back but her finances were in shambles. Her family was trying some tough love on her to try to get her off the drugs and alcohol and had cut off her trust fund. A source close to Casey describes that “She was a lost little girl who just wanted to be loved,” “She had a difficult relationship with her family’s huge wealth. She loved the life it gave her, but it also made everything she did feel worthless.
“She once described her family money as the ‘golden handcuffs.’ She was the ultimate little, lost rich girl.”
So sad!
