O.P.I. nail polish collection is embarking on a European tour and this fall it’s first stop was Switzerland which inspired the 12 shades that make up the nail lacquer’s Fall 2010 color collection. They have now launched the ‘Swiss’ collection. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director spoke of the new collection saying “Switzerland provided the inspiration for this season, with a backdrop of snow-peaked mountains, lush glacial valleys, and glittering lakes. With luxurious hues across the color spectrum, the Swiss Collection features jeweled tones from ruby red to shimmering gold and everything in between.” She also went on to say “The Swiss Collection features the same relaxed luxury that walked the fashion runways, where timeless shades of black, camel and cream were met with a wealth of jeweled emerald, sapphire, and gold,” explains Weiss-Fischmann. “Wearing these colors on fingers and toes will accessorize the season’s must-have pieces – from masculine-inspired tailored jackets contrasted with ultra-feminine dresses to beautiful bohemian garments with toughened touches of leather.” Here are the colors in the collection:

Paris Hilton is now being sued for 35 Million dollars by Hairtech International’s Dream Catcher hair extension line. The hotel heiress signed a multi million dollar contract to use and promote the hair extensions, but she blew them off and now the company is saying she owes them 35,000,000 in damages. Miss Hilton was supposed to be wearing the extensions made by the company but instead she was sporting fake locks in magazines and other appearances by their competition. The company is also saying that while Paris was in jail she was supposed to be attending a very important launch party for the extensions and because she could not be there they lost about 6.6 million in revenues.

Here are some tips and tricks on creating loose wavy hair that is very popular among the celebrities right now and isn’t about to go out of style anytime soon. You can prep your hair by first adding some mousse and letting it air dry. Tilt your head to the side and work in the mousse from the ends up, do not brush out. The time required in styling could take between 30 minutes up to an hour depending on length and thickness of your hair. If your hair is naturally curly you will want to work a straightening balm. You will want your hair to be completely dry before beginning and it helps to blow cold air at the roots to add volume. Then section your hair off into even pieces before beginning with the curling iron. You will want to use a large barrel curling iron on low heat and spritz the section of hair with a styling spray. The trick with the curling iron to create the loose waves is to simply wrap the hair loosely around the barrel do not clamp the hair in it. This allows the hair to be curled all the way the the root. Hold the curl on the curling iron for about 5-10 seconds. As you work your way through your hair alternate the direction of the curls you can do this by first putting the barrel on the top of the hair before placing it around and then alternating to the barrel at the bottom before beginning wrap the hair around. This will make the curls look more natural. Once finished you can loosen the curls with your fingers, do not brush them out and spray with a flexible hold hairspray. Don’t overdo it with the hairspray though you don’t want the curls to be crunchy.

Balayage pronounced (bah-lay-ah-je) is a french word meaning “to sweep” and it is a hair coloring technique that many celebrities have done to create very natural-looking highlights which grow out without developing a noticeable and obvious root. The balayage lasts longer because as the hair grows out the root will be concealed by the thinner color applied to the base of the hair. Unlike a foil, hair looks like it has simply been highlighted by the sun in a more natural way. Over the weekend Reggie Bush was spotted in Las Vegas being very flirty. It appears he does not seem to be too upset over his break up with Kim Kardashian. It is being reported that Kim was trying to push Reggie towards marrying her but that Reggie never wanted to marry Kim and the source said “His mother does not want her son dating someone who has a sex tape out there.” He is such a mamma’s boy; he will never marry her because she would disown him.” Since the split in March Kim has been keeping busy filming her reality show on the beach in Miami and is working on launching a new beauty line called Kardashian Beauty. She also just realeased a self-tanner last week called Kardashian Glamour Tan which costs $34.00 and promises a natural golden tan within 24 hours without the messy streaks.
