Former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver have split after 25 years of marriage. They have four children together. The couple released a statement Monday night saying “This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship. We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public.”

Lindsay Lohan, 24 was sentenced today to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service because of a probation violation. Lohan allegedly shoplifted a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, California, jewelry store on January 22. She was facing felony charges but instead charged with a misdemeanor. Lohan will do her community service at a women’s center in downtown Los Angeles. Her bail as been set at $75,000 and it is likely that she will be bailed out within the next couple of hours.

Nicholas Cage was arrested early Saturday morning in New Orleans when an argument broke out between him and his wife Alice Kim. Cage and his wife were arguing over the address of one of their rental properties. They were standing in front of the property that Cage didn’t think was their and that is when he grabbed his wife’s arm. He was reportedly “very drunk” and a cab driver called police when he witnessed the argument. The cab driver said “Nicholas is one of our best clients and normally such a gentleman. He is a big tipper and always very kind.” At some point Cage actually dared the cops to arrest him and so they did. Cage’s bail has been set at $11,000.

Charlie Sheen’s soon to be ex wife Brooke Mueller has relapsed and was spotted purchasing cocaine in a gang infested neighborhood in Inglewood California. It is believed that she paid $150 for and 8 ball of crack cocaine. That Thursday morning Mueller was supposed to show up to a mandatory drug test. She is currently involved in a custody battle with Charlie Sheen over the couples two year old twin sons. She was apparently calling friends and asking them for their urine so she could use it to pass the test because she had been using again. Thursday afternoon she was seen at a pawn shop trying to hock an expensive watch. A source close to Mueller said that “Brooke is having a full fledged crack relapse.” The source also said that “Her lawyer has been trying to reach her to no avail. Brooke has 3-4 friends that are big-time party animals, and they came over to her Los Feliz mansion, picked her up, and she hasn’t been seen since.” Brooke’s mother has been taking care of the two boys since Tuesday. And what was Charlie’s response when he heard that Brooke was at a pawn shop trying to get money for drugs? It was “Don’t pick a fight with a warlock…’cause your gonna lose.”

Elizabeth Taylor died of congestive heart failure Wednesday March 23, 2011 at the age of 79. She was most commonly referred to as Liz and began her career as a child star. She was known for her acting talent, beauty, glamour, and her strikingly beautiful violet eyes. Unlike many child stars Liz made an easy transition into adult roles. Taylor won two academy awards for Best Actress for her performances in BUtterfield 8 in 1960, and for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 1966. She also won an award in 1992 for her work fighting against AIDS. On May 16, 2000 at Buckingham Palace she was named Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II. Taylor was married eight times throughout her life to seven husbands. They were Conrad “Nicky” Hilton (May 6, 1950 – January 29, 1951) an unhappy marriage that ended in divorce after nine months, Michael Wilding (February 21, 1952 – January 26, 1957) he was 20 years older than Liz, Michael Todd (February 2, 1957 – March 22, 1958) marriage ended as a result of Todd’s death not divorce, Eddie Fisher (May 12, 1959 – March 6, 1964) Eddie was Todd’s best friend and he consoled her after Todd’s death, Richard Burton (March 15, 1964 – June 26, 1974) sixteen months after they divorced they remarried from (October 10, 1975 – July 29, 1976), John Warner (December 4, 1976 – November 7, 1982) Warner was a U.S. Senator from Virginia, Taylor was unhappy in Washington and became depressed, and Larry Fortensky (October 6, 1991 – October 31, 1996) they met while Taylor was at the Betty Ford Clinic and were married and Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. When Taylor was asked why she married so much she replied “I don’t know, honey. It sure beats the hell out of me.” Micheal Jackson and Liz Taylor had a very close friendship. She was a vocal supporter of Jackson when he went to trial in 2005 on charges of sexually abusing a child. She encouraged him to wear a Kabbalah red string as protection from the “evil eye” during the trial. Jackson was eventually cleared of all charges. Taylor had many health problems throughout her lifetime. She had received treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction and also broke her back five times, had both of her hips replaced, survived a benign brain tumor and skin cancer. She also had a life threatening encounter with pneumonia twice. Towards the end of her life she was reclusive and failed to make public appearances because of illness or other reasons. She was admitted into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for treatment related to congestive heart failure, a progressive condition in which the heart is too weak to pump sufficient blood throughout the body. She remained in the hospital until her death. She is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Taylor is be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California the same place Michael Jackson is buried. She will be entombed in the Great Mausoleum.

CBS first halted the production of Two and a Half Men, which starred Charlie Sheen. Now the show has official fired him! Sheen decided to grant interviews in the past week to let the show know how he felt about production being halted. Sheen has been in the hospital numerous times now for an alleged overdose on cocaine, the reason Two and a Half Men halted production. The show’s producers wanted Sheen to go to a rehab facility but he said he would do his rehab at his home. Here are some of his crazy recent quotes:

Ryan Reynolds 34, and Scarlett Johansson 26, have decided to split after just two years of marriage. The couple met in 2007 and were married on September 27, 2008 in a small ceremony in Reynolds hometown Vancouver B.C. The wedding was attended by only close friends and family and photos of the nuptials were never released. A statement from the couple regarding the split says “After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

Gloria Stuart died Sunday at her home in West Hollywood, she had just celebrated her 100th birthday in July. She is possibly best know for her role in Titanic as Rose Calvert the 101 year old survivor of the ship’s sinking. Stuart was the oldest person ever nominated for an acting Oscar for that role but she lost to Kim Basinger. Stuart was 86 when she was discovered and cast as Rose by director James Cameron. Titanic was the highest top grossing film of all time until it was overtaken by Avatar which was also directed by James Cameron. Stuart had been an actress in Hollywood’s golden age but was forgotten until her role on Titanic which then brought her more film and television work in her 90′s. Stuart is survived by her daughter, Ms. Thompson along with 4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In a Beverly Hills courthouse on Friday September 24 Lindsay Lohan was sent back to jail by a judge because she failed a drug test. She tested positive for cocaine and adderall during a court ordered drug test last week in which Lohan acknowledged via twitter saying “Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps. This is certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.” Lindsay won’t be getting released early because this time she is being held by the court until October 22 for her next hearing. Sources close to Lohan say that she wasn’t expecting the judge to be so harsh on her and thought that she would at least be granted bail. It is being reported that she is being very cooperative.
UPDATE: Judge Elden Fox had issued a “no bail” ruling but that was overturned because Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley filed an appeal and won and Lohan’s bail was set at $300,000. Lohan posted her bail and is now a free woman although she does have to wear another SCRAM bracelet and isn’t allowed in bars or clubs.

The hit ABC show Dancing With the Stars has just announced it’s star studded cast for season 11. The show will premiere on September 20 and the cast was announced during ABC’s other hit show Bachelor Pad. Paris Hilton was charged Monday with felony cocaine possession. Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were pulled over on Friday night in a black Cadillac Escalade on the Las Vegas strip. According to Police they pulled over the vehicle in front of the Wynn hotel driven by Cy Waits because they noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Waits was arrested for suspicion of DUI, meanwhile a crowd of around 100 people were onlookers as Paris was questioned. She said that she needed to use the bathroom and was then taken into the Wynn security office restroom. When she went to grab lip balm from her purse that is when the officer noticed the bindle that was determined to contain 0.8 gram of cocaine fall out. Paris first said that the purse was not hers but has later changed the story to the purse being hers but she had lent it to a friend. She claims the cocaine must have belonged to the friend, other items in the purse were credit cards, 1,300 cash a broken albuterol tablet that Hilton said were her possessions. There were also zig zag rolling papers and some cosmetics in the purse that she said did not belong to her. The picture above is Hilton’s new mugshot, she was held in jail for about 3 hours and released on her own recognizance. Hilton is facing a category E felony which in Nevada carries with it a sentence of one to four years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000; the court can also grant probation on a first offense.

Young comedian Whitney Cummings new one hour show debut was August 21 on Comedy Central called “Whitney Cummings: Money Shot.” At the Young Hollywood Awards she has already won “Comedian of the Year” and Entertainment Weekly as named her ‘Comedy Star of Tomorrow.’ Cummings is an American actress and comedian who started out on MTV’s Punk’d. She also had a role in the movie Made of Honor. She also recently made headlines when she appeared on the Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff where she made fun of everybody a little bit. She currently is on tour with Denis Leary and the Rescue Me Comedy Tour to promote the show’s 6th season.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan 50, was in a car crash in which his 1995 jeep wrangler went over the side of Pacific Coast Highway rocky embankment landing on it’s roof yesterday at around 4:30 PM. Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene. He had posted on his twitter account moments before the crash “After 25 years of driving by, I finally hiked to the top of the giant sand dune on the pch west of Malibu. Much harder than it looks! Whew!” He also posted a picture of his dog on his twitter. The dog was in the crash with him and was injured but survived. This is the image and last tweet he sent “Border collie jill surveying the view from atop the sand dune.”

Dr. Ryan had made headlines recently after performing 10 plastic surgeries in one day on reality star Heidi Montag. Some of his other celebrity clients include Janice Dickinson, Gene Simmons, Shauna Sand, Vince Neil and Adrianne Curry.

UPDATE: It is being reported that Dr. Frank Ryan was twittering that message on his phone which may have distracted him causing his jeep to go over the side of a cliff in Malibu. His cause of death is being reported as “blunt force trauma” to the head. This is a reminder that texting while driving is very dangerous.

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan has decided to speak out about her daughters recent stay in jail and her current stay in rehab. She did an interview with Matt Lauer of The Today Show. In the video you will see that a couple of times throughout the interview she seems upset and uses the phrase “hardball” a lot when describing Lindsay’s punishment.

Eminem and Rihanna have a new video out for their hit song Love The Way You Lie. The video stars Rihanna and Eminen along with Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan. Fox and Monaghan play the couple in the video that are in a cylcle of fighting, drinking, shoplifting and pyromania. Rihanna 22, takes on domestic violence by appearing in the video as she sings outside the house that bursts into flames. Eminem and the director Joseph Kahn worked closely together to make sure they got the video right saying, “Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this. They really brought it and made this video super-powerful.” Megan Fox 24, donated the money she made from the video to a shelter for abused women called Sojourn House.
