A former part-time nanny for Britney Spears, Fernando Flores has contacted the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services. Flores is making claims that Britney abused her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James claiming Britney whipped one of her sons with a belt. He is also claiming that Britney fed the children food that they were allergic to which in turn made them very ill. The timing of his claims is very suspicious as he was just let go from the job a month ago. Sources close to Britney say that there are always bodyguards and nannies around and that Britney is never alone with the children. They believe Britney is just the target of a man upset by his job loss. Children Services investigated the claim as they are required to and believe it has no merit.

Ryan Seacrest 35 from American Idol, and Julianne Hough 21 from Dancing With the Stars are trying to keep quiet their rumored relationship but sources close to them are saying otherwise and that “things have gotten more serious over the last month.” The two have been spotted together numerous times over the past month. They were spotted together with their arms around each other on the beach in Malibu and also dining at L.A.’s Red O restaurant and shopping together at Alice + Olivia. Seacrest also flew into Nashville to see Hough perform at the CMA Music Festival on June 11, reported AceShowBiz. Looks like things are heating up for the unlikely pair.

Celine Dion is now 14 weeks pregnant and her hopes for having a baby are coming true in fact she is having two! Dion 42 is pregnant after undergoing in-vitro fertilization for a sixth time and she has also been doing acupuncture to improve her chances of pregnancy. Dion is currently a mother to her nine year old son René-Charles but has had hopes to expand the family. Her husband and manager René Angelil said of the pregnancy “were ecstatic.”

Mariah Carey 40, and her husband Nick Cannon 29 are expecting their first baby! The couple who wed in 2008 after only knowing each other for three weeks at Mariah’s private island in the Bahamas have hinted that they were planning to extend their family. The couple also just renewed their vows in May to celebrate their two year anniversary. Speculation began about the pregnancy when the couple were spotted outside a Los Angeles medical clinic in May and their was also speculation that Carey had begun hormone enhancement therapy which might explain her recent weight gain. Rapper 50 Cent is getting ready for his role in a movie in which he will play a cancer-stricken football player in Things Fall Apart, due out next year. 50 Cent whose real name is Curtis Jackson, 34 is taking the role so seriously that he has had all of his tattoos removed and went from 214 pounds to 160 pounds by following a liquid diet and spending up to 3 hours a day on the treadmill. He took to his twitter account to reveal some of the first photos which show him looking gaunt and said he was “starving”. He also assured fans to not be worried “I’ve been eating. I’ll be back in shape in no time!”

Brett Michaels returned to the stage Friday night in Biloxi, MS after just a month ago he was hospitalized for suffering from a brain hemorrhage. He performed in front of 1,400 fans at the Hard Rock Casino and seemed to be in good health. Michaels strutted across the stage with a slight limp but was still able to give an energetic performance. Michaels said to the crowd before performing “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “I can’t say this is true yet, cause I don’t know. Next year they asked me to possibly be the judge on ‘American Idol.’” So it looks like Brett is in the running to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol though Fox is not commenting on any speculation regarding Simon’s replacement.

The shy guy who worked at the paint store won over America and became the ninth season winner of American Idol. At the beginning of the season DeWyze was real fidgety and reserved and when he sang he almost seemed slightly embarassed at the end of his performances. He beat out Crystal Bowersox who was favored to win for most of the season. Critics are saying that Crystal far out sang Lee throughout the competition and on Tuesday night. The ninth season also seemed a bit like a season finale because it was judge Simon Cowell’s last night on the show. He is moving on to become an executive producer and will appear on a new singing competition, “The X Factor,” also on Fox. Congrats to Lee DeWyze! I am sure that Crystal Bowersox will go on to become very successful as well.

Brett Michael’s has left the hospital where he was receiving care after suffering from a brain hemorrhage. His doctor says “Mr. Michaels was indeed a lucky person, a very lucky person,” Dr. Joseph Zabramski explained at a press conference, PEOPLE reports. Michaels is “still very sick right now,” but he has left the hospital. “He’s improving and I expect him to continue to improve. I really expect that he will fortunately make a 100 percent recovery. He’s just one of those lucky people — 10 to 20 percent who make a complete recovery and can resume all of their normal activities,” Zabramski added. Michaels suffered from the brain hemorrhage on April 21 and described it as “sounded like a handgun. Like, it literally popped.” In his recent interview with PEOPLE he said “I said in these exact words, ‘Am I dying? If I’m dying, I want to see my kids, but if I have a chance, I don’t want them to see me in this condition.” Brett is still undergoing physical therapy and the full interview with him will be published on May 7th in People magazine.

Chely Wright who is a 39 year old country music singer has just come out of the closet. She explains in her new autobiography Like Me: Confessions of a Heartland Country Singer that she has known for a very long time and has been hiding her sexuality, so much so that it even brought her to the brink of suicide. She came under intense pressure when John Rich from country music duo Big and Rich asked her if she was gay. He said point blank ‘You’re not gay. If you are, people won’t have it. It’s sick, it’s deviant, it’s unacceptable to country-music fans.’ And he said, ‘You’re not, are you?’ At that point she lied and realized that she had gone from just not speaking about it to a liar. Of her recent revelations she says “a huge weight has been lifted. “It feels incredible.”

It looks like after three years of dating Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte Rocker Joel Madden are ready to make it official and they are now engaged! Richie announced the engagement on her appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman” Monday February 15, 2010. The couple currently have two children together Harlow 2, and Sparrow 5 months. Carrie Underwood and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher announced their engagement today Monday December 21. The two became engaged yesterday a rep for the singer confirms. “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” the former American Idol’s rep told MTV News. “No wedding date has been set at this time.” Mike Fisher plays for the Ottawa Senators. Carrie had even mentioned her boyfriend in her hit song Play On “Thank you #12,” she wrote about Fisher, referring to his jersey number. “You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day. … xoxo, Carrie.” Carrie had spoke of the relationship being the longest one that she had ever had and that her and Fisher had managed to keep it out of the public eye. The two will not move in together until they are married. Congrats to them!

Adam Lambert’s performance at the American Music Awards had many people shocked. He performed his single “For Your Entertainment” and throughout the performance he put a man’s face in his crotch, walked his dancers on leashes, and kissed his keyboardist. After the performance many people there watching the show took to thier twitter accounts to say that the performance was a little bit excessive. In an interview with Rolling Stone after the performance Lambert said “Female performers have been doing this for years — pushing the envelope about sexuality — and the minute a man does it, everybody freaks out. We’re in 2009; it’s time to take risks, be a little more brave, time to open people’s eyes, and if it offends them, then maybe I’m not for them.” Adam will be performing again on “Good Morning America” and David Letterman on Wednesday.

Rihanna is opening up for the first time since the domestic attack on her from then boyfriend Chris Brown. She is finally speaking out and says that she wants to be a positive role model for other women who are suffering the same abuse. Although Rihanna has been in the spotlight for a while now she said nothing prepared her for the days following the attack and the intense level of media attention she began recieving. She said she felt like she woke up as Britney Spears, because Britney recieves the same level. “It has taught me so much. I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears,” she said in a candid interview in the December issue of Glamour magazine. “That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. It was like, what, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can’t go back home?” Rihanna will most likeley be named one of the Women Of They Year 2009 she said that the support of her friends and family are what has gotten her through this difficult time.

British singer Leona Lewis was punched in the today at a signing of her new book in London. She was signing copies of her autobiography “Dreams” when a man from the line came up and hit her in the head. He was immediately led away by security guards and later arrested. The attack was said to be totally “unprovoked” and an “understandably badly shaken” Lewis went to see a doctor after the incident as a precaution. Leona Lewis became famous when she won the “X Factor” reality show in 2006 and in 2008 became the first British woman to top the US charts for more than 20 years with her single “Bleeding Love”. The 29 year old man who hit her is still in custody.
