ABC has announced the hosts and cast of it’s new spin off called Bachelor Pad which will premiere on August 9th. The show will feature Chris Harrison and Melissa Rycroft as it’s co hosts and will have 19 former Bachelor and Bachelorette almuni from past seasons. The reality show contestants will face off in competitions for a prize of $250,000 and a second chance at love. The competition will feature different challenges in which a contestant will be voted off each week. Chris Harrison had said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that “We’ve always wanted to do an all-star edition. We decided to come up with just a kind of fun, don’t-think-too hard summer franchise.” He also added that the cast will be sharing “two or three bathrooms.” We put them in one house, sleeping in one room. You get this many hot girls and hot guys in one house and things happen!” The cast has been revealed and are as follows:

Tenley Molzhan – From Jake Pavelka’s season, she was runner up.

Gia Allemand – The 26 year old swimsuit model from Jake Pavelka’s season who made it to the final three.

Ashley Elmore – The 30 year old teacher from Jake Pavelka’s season.

Craig McKinnon – The 34 year old dental salesman and villain already eliminated from Ali’s season.

Michelle Kujawa – The 26 year old saleswoman sent home from Jake Pavelka’s season and known for talking too much about marriage and babies.

Jesse Beck – The 25 year old contractor sent home from Ali’s season.

Jessie Sulidis – The 25 year old cosmetic saleswoman sent home from Jake Pavelka’s season, also known for confronting Rozlyn Papa at The Women Tell All.

Jonathan Novack – The weatherman from Ali’s season.

Elizabeth Kitt – The woman eliminated from Jake Pavelka’s season after playing mind games with Jake.

Peyton Wright – Sweet 27 year old from the season with Andy Baldwin.

Kiptyn Locke – Runner up from the season with Jillian Harris.

Krisily Kennedy – Runner up from Charlie O’Connell’s season.

Rachel Uchitel whom you may remember as the mistress of Tiger Woods is now set to appear on Dr. Drew Pinsky’s Celebrity Rehab. Originally Uchitel had an offer from Donald Trump to be on the next Celebrity Apprentice but over the weekend Rachel agreed to do Celebrity Rehab for a prescription drug addiction and now Donald Trump is sayin “It’s a terrible decision. We have zero interest in her now.” He also believes that she will regret her decision and went on to say “Look at what ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ did for Piers Morgan. He’s getting Larry King’s job. She made a bad mistake.” And his final words were “Celebrity Apprentice is a huge show and ‘Celebrity Rehab’ is not. I have 10 people who want to be on the show for every slot that’s available. I’m moving on.” To get Uchitel to appear on Celebrity Rehab did come with a hefty price, she is reportedly getting paid $500,000. Some of the other cast members she will be joining on the show are supermodel Janice Dickinson, actor Jeremy London, musician Leif Garrett, oil heir Jason Davis, ex-reality star Jason Wahler and singer Keyshia Cole’s mother.

Country singer and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood 27, married her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher 30, who plays for the Ottawa Senators in Georgia on Saturday. The ceremony was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia. Security at the wedding was very tight and among some of the 250 guests there were some big names there which included Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul. Carrie wore Chantilly lace dress created for her by Monique Lhuillier. The couple reportedly left Sunday morning to go on a romantic honeymoon in a secret location. The couple plan to live in Nashville and in Peterborough, Ontario. Congrats!

Reality star Alexis Bellino from Real Housewives of Orange County had a bit of a scare on the 4th of July when the stroller with her twin daughters in it went into the swimming pool. It was reported by TMZ that Alexis and Jim had left their daughters two and half year olds Melania and Mackenna in the stroller near the pool while they were off “doing something.” The story said that a lifeguard dove in and grabbed one child while husband Jim grabbed the other. Alexis has taken to her blog to defend herself. She writes
“On Sunday, July 4th, my family was leaving the Balboa Bay Club swimming pool in the late afternoon. As we were leaving, I turned to say goodbye. Our girls were in their stroller and I thought I had put the brake on, but apparently I didn’t. My husband, Jim, and I were both standing close to the stroller. Within seconds, the stroller had rolled towards the pool and a stroller wheel rolled off the edge of the pool. Before either of us could grab the stroller, a second wheel rolled off the edge, and the stroller went into the pool. Of course, Jim instantly went into the pool. He grabbed both of the girls himself and lifted both of them out of the water. Because the girls were not strapped into the stroller, and Jim was right there, their heads did not even go under water.

While we are not making light of this incident, and have been reminded to never take our eyes off the children for even a second when near water, it has been so hurtful to know how this experience has been mischaracterized in the media. To all of you who have offered your support, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

It has been a rough week for Bachelor and Bachelorette fans as just two nights ago a bitter breakup between Jake and Vienna was aired on television. Now just two days after that explosive interview it is being reported that Bachelorette Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski have called off their engagement also. Of the split Jillian gave an interview to US magazine and said “I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me.” Meanwhile Ed also commented that “We’re both kind of resetting. Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.” Just last August the magazine was reporting that Ed had two girlfriends at the time Jillian chose him on the Bachelorette, but the reports had been denied by both Ed and Jillian.

Tonight on ABC there will be a special interview with Vienna Girardi and Jake Pavelka to address their recent breakup. The host Chris Harrison did a pre interview and opened up about who he believes is telling the truth and has said that the confrontation did get very “heated.” There have been rumors flying around that during the interview at one point Jake made a fist as if he was going to get physical with Vienna but Chris said that at no point in time was anyone ever in harms way. This will all be aired on the 2 hour Bachelorette special tonight July 5.

Dean McDermott 43, is in the intensive care unit following a dirt bike accident. His wife Tori Spelling has been by his side since he entered the hospital and said that “He is in a lot of pain.” This is the second time this year that he has crashed on his dirt bike and his wife says “He’s taking this as a sign and realizing family is too important to risk his life.” He crashed on Tuesday while out riding with a couple of friends and after the crash he could not move and was bleeding from a puncture wound in his right side. He is suffering from a punctured and collapsed lung but is expected to make a full recovery.

Talk show host Larry King announced on Tuesday on the air that he will be retiring after 25 years. His show will be ending in the fall, and he said the reason for his retirement is that he would like to spend more time with his family. In a statement released before the show aired on Tuesday King said “I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I would like to end Larry King Live, the nightly show, this fall and CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids’ little league games.” He has been having some trouble at home lately as he and wife filed for divorce back in April but have since gotten back together. His wife Shawn King also just recently made headlines when she overdosed and had to go to the hospital. Larry will continue to host several Larry King specials for CNN.

Brian Austin Green of Beverly Hills 90210 and Megan Fox Transformers wed in a super secret private ceremony at the Big Island of Hawaii at The Four Seasons Hotel. Fox 24, and Green 36 met in 2004 then got engaged in 2006 but called the engagement off in February of 2009. The called off engagement at the time was a mutual decision, but it looks like they got it right this time and the duo is officially husband and wife. They were snapped in photographs enjoying their honeymoon in Hawaii with showing off their new rings. This is the first marriage for both of them, though Green does have an eight year old son with Vanessa Marcil. Congrats to the happy couple!

Hayden Christensen 29, of Star Wars and Rachel Bilson 28, from The O.C. met on the set of Jumper in 2007 and became engaged in 2009. Bilson was spotted last week without her engagement ring and InTouch is reporting that it was Christensen who pulled the plug on the engagement. A source told the magazine that “they had been going through a rough patch for months and hadn’t spent any time together.” Rachel had gone to Canada to spend time with him during the Olympics in February but it just wasn’t enough. Apparently Hayden was losing interest last summer when Rachel was busy planning the wedding with his mother Alie. The source also said that “Rachel was very insecure about Hayden, and she wants to be with him all the time. That is just not the kind of boyfriend he is.” The couple were approaching their 3 year anniversary.

Ryan Seacrest 35 from American Idol, and Julianne Hough 21 from Dancing With the Stars are trying to keep quiet their rumored relationship but sources close to them are saying otherwise and that “things have gotten more serious over the last month.” The two have been spotted together numerous times over the past month. They were spotted together with their arms around each other on the beach in Malibu and also dining at L.A.’s Red O restaurant and shopping together at Alice + Olivia. Seacrest also flew into Nashville to see Hough perform at the CMA Music Festival on June 11, reported AceShowBiz. Looks like things are heating up for the unlikely pair.

Jake Pavelka star of The Bachelor and the girl he picked Vienna Giradi have confirmed that they have ended their engagement after just 3 months. A rep for the couple said “Jake and Vienna have split and appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time.” It is being reported that their have been issues in the relationship since not long after the show finished taping. Tabloids were reporting that Jake had contacted his ex-girlfriend the day after taping wrapped to tell her that he still loved her and that the women on the show meant nothing to him. The couple had not set a date for their wedding but they just recently been gushing about an impending wedding and Vienna had even said that she had purchased a pair of wedding shoes saying she had gotten some Jimmy Choos with crystals all over them. The two were also just in Kauai where they stayed at the Grand Hyatt for five days to celebrate Vienna’s birthday and that was just back on May 31.

UPDATE: Of course we are all wondering why Jake and Vienna split. TMZ is reporting that Jake called off the engagement because he believed that Vienna was “stepping out” on him with actor Gregory Michael from ABC’s show “Greek.” Vienna took to her twitter account to say “The accusations of me cheating are completely fabricated. 100% False.” It is also being reported that Vienna wanted out of the relationship because she believed that Jake was a “fame whore” and that he constantly abandoned her for photo shoots and media events. When TMZ spoke to Vienna’s stepmom Lisa here is what she had to say “I don’t think [Jake] ever really loved her … I think he picked her because she is a dramatic person and it was good for the ratings.” Lisa also claims Jake would often exaggerate about his relationship with Vienna in public … saying, “In real life, they never kissed, didn’t have a romantic relationship and he never told her that he loved her.” Oh and she gave the 3 carat ring back to Jake worth $50,000 but Jake doesn’t get to keep it either, he must give it back to the show. Rule is they only get to keep it if they get married.

Actor Jeremy London 37 from Party of Five, was trying to change his flat tire in Palm Springs California when armed men kidnapped and robbed him. The ordeal happened when a man had stopped to help him outside the Bahama Hotel & Apartments on North Palm Canyon Drive, late on the evening of Thursday, June 10. The kidnapper took him and drove him around in his own vehicle while making him smoke dope and then purchase alcohol and hand it out to a gang area of Palm Springs all while being held at gunpoint. A source said “Jeremy said it was a terrorizing experience and he spent hours thinking he was going to die and he did what he had to do not to end up shot or dead.” A man has been arrested named Brandon Adams and is currently behind bars. He has been booked on multiple charges including kidnapping, possession of stolen property and vehicle theft.

Megan Fox from “Transformers” is officially engaged to the former “90210″ star Brian Austin Green. The couple was vacationing in Hawaii at the Four Seasons Hualalai hotel when Green popped the question on June 1. An onlooker said that Megan started jumping up and down in excitement and somehow the 2-carat ring got lost in the sand. After that the hotels security and workers came out and spent hours looking for it but nobody found it. The couple had picked out the ring together and apparently it is still missing. Despite the 12 year age difference the couple has been together since 2004. Congrats to them, hope they find the ring!

The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka has landed a role on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva. He will play Toby Davlin who is a participant in a dating show called “Finding the One.” It will also be a “bachelor-type” role. Drop Dead Diva’s executive producer Josh Berman had nothing but great things to say about Pavelka stating “When Jake came into the office to audition for the role, the whole production came to a stop. Everyone wanted to talk with him. He was so gracious and charming. He was spot-on and won the role in the room.” Pavelka also had a role on “Walker, Texas Ranger” back in 1999.
