Michael C. Hall from Showtime's hit show Dexter has released a statement that he is fighting cancer. The 38 year old was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, which is one of the most curable types of cancer. he is currently in remission and says that "I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition." "I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care." He will continue with his scheduled treatments and will also be attending the Golden Globes on Sunday for which he is nominee. His wife and "Dexter" costar Jennifer Carpenter who plays his sibling by adoption on the show will accompany him to the awards show. The two married at the end of 2008 on the sly.
