Shawn Johnson Wins Dancing With The Stars Season 8

Last night Shawn Johnson was named as the winner of Dancing With The Stars Season 8 and got to take home the mirror ball trophy. In an article it said she also took home 365,000 from the show. This season of the show the three finalists were all equally deserving of the win. Melissa Rycroft came in third and there was a less that one percent difference in votes that Shawn and Gilles recieved in being crowned as the winner. What do you think, was Shawn deserving of the win?

yes i think shawn deserved to win! she was fun to watch all season and i was surprised that she was actually a good dancer. i am surprised melissa got third, i expected her to have the biggest fan base. oh well it was a good season and i cant wait to hear which celebrites will be on next season!

I agree Shawn was fun to watch all season. I kinda was surprised that Melissa got third place too. All three of them were so good. I think alot of the voters may have thought that Melissa didn't deserve to win the whole thing because of how she had to take the week off when she injured her ribs. I agree, can't wait to see what celebs are on next!
