Beatrice Arthur



Actress Beatrice Arthur from "Maude" and "The Golden Girls" dies at the age of 86 from cancer. She passed away at her home in Los Angeles early this morning April, 25 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Rue McClanahan who played Blanche Devereaux on the show had this to say of her late friend Beatrice

My mom used to watch this show, I think every single day, when I was a kid.

I always wondered who they were talking about when they listed "naked pictures of Bea Arthur" as one of the demands in the movie "Airheads".

I have never seen the movie "Airheads" but when I was looking for pictures of Bea Arthur because I couldn't remember which Golden Girl she was I did not there are some topless pictures of her online, were these taken for the movie "Airheads" seems out of character for her to take pics like that?

The photos were a running joke on the movie, I don't think they ever got them and they certainly didn't show them.
