So my Bff Stephanie works at Salon Teze On Canyon Road in Puyallup. She told me about this new hair coloring technique that she's planning on trying on me at the end of this month! :) I'm so excited Fall is the perfect time to add warm, rich chocolate browns, and caramel colors into your hair! I cant wait to see what it looks like. You should go check her out. She does a great job and is super friendly! :D

Thanks for the 411, what exactly is this coloring technique. I am an need of a change and I think adding warm browns to my hair would be a good idea for fall.

Well its kind of hard to explain, but basicall from about the bottom of your ears and down, its All one color (dark) then from above your ears to almost the crown of your head (dome piece) is a lighter color, maybe a chesnut or caramel brown, then on top in a circle (but with pointed edges kind of like a star but with multiple points your hair is foiled in with the same underneath color as well as on the sides near your face. It sounds a little weird, maybe even somewhat confusing but from the pictures I saw it looked great. Gave the hair a lot of dimension and pop! :) You should try it!

It sounds pretty cool! Though I am a little confused  Hey if you get it done I would really like to see a picture  I have been putting blonde highlights in my hair for quite a while now and I think I could use a change like that. When do you plan to get this done to your hair?

Ok so heres the deal...

So I went and got my hair done yesterday and it looks NO different than what it did before. The colors she chose weren't any different. My hair looks almost exactly the same just a little light brown up top in areas. I was hoping for something a little different. OH well... maybe next time. It still looks good. A shiny refreshed dark brown! :) Just like always! :)

Interesting, so she did that new technique on it though? Maybe it just didn't turn out as well because your hair is so dark, maybe it would look different on someone who had lighter color hair. Did it take her a long time to do and how much does something like this generally cost?
