Ashton Kutcher has over 1 million Twitter followers

Ashton Kutcher is the first to reach 1 million followers on Twitter. Twitter is a free social messaging website that allows you to keep in touch with family and friends in real-time by sending small updates about what you are doing. In the last week as both Kutcher and CNN both neared 1 million followers on their twitter accounts it became somewhat of a competition. CNN lost out to Kutcher by less than 1,200 followers congratulated him.

So he actually did it lol. On Wednesday him and his fans appeared at Ted Turner's restaurant in Atlanta. They stacked hundreds of boxes of ding dong snacks in front of it and then repeatedly rang the bell.

"Don't be shy, get involved," Kutcher told the crowd. "There are 800 boxes of Ding Dongs. There are approximately 9,600 Ding Dongs here. We have to deliver these to Ted."

He also placed a banner displaying his Twitter name - @aplusk - over CNN's neon sign on its Atlanta headquarters on Wednesday evening.

"You know, CNN lost. That's what happened. I'm just fulfilling a promise I made," Kutcher told his supporters.
