Dakota Fanning cast in "New Moon"

Dakota Fanning will be playing Jane in the movie "New Moon" which is the second in the four book "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer. Jane is a member of the Italian Volturi vampires in the "Twilight" series. Dakota has also been seen in many other movies such as I am Sam, The Cat in the Hat, Man on Fire, and Charlottes Web just to name a few. The planned release date for the movie is November 20, 2009. When interviewed back in January Dakota said she would be very excited to be cast in the film. Since being chosen she also stated

Wow that is really exciting. Dakota Fanning is such a great actress! She has already been in so many hit movies and she is only 15! I am sure she will add alot to the movie, can't wait to see it!

Dakota Fanning is soooo cute. She is 15??? She doesn't look 15, and I can't believe she is 15 "already". Wow how time flies by. I saw her in I am Sam, and Man on Fire. I agree with you, she is a great actress.

Yeah I know time is flying, I can't believe she is 15 already either. I am Sam and Man on Fire were both two of my favorite movies, I am sure she will do really well in "New Moon"!
