Farrah Fawcett's Health Is Declining

According to numerous reports, friends and family are now at the bedside of Farrah Fawcett as her health is declining. They are saying their goodbyes to her. A priest has also been called to deliver Farrah's last rites to her. She has been in the hospital for at least the last two weeks. On an interview with Barbara Walters, Farrah's boyfriend Ryan O'Neal announced that he had asked Farrah to marry him and she has agreed. He said they will marry as soon as they can. The couple has been together since 1979. In 2006 Farrah was diagnosed with anal cancer that has spread to her liver. The "Charlies Angel" actress is 62.

Following the incredibly sad news of Farrah Fawcett's death in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, lifelong partner Ryan O'Neal has released the following statement:

"She's gone. She now belongs to the ages. She's now with he mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now."

O'Neal reveals that Farrah was surrounded by her many doctors and close friends when she passed away. He says, "She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn't say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us."

This is such a sad story. What a sad day yesterday was. It makes me mad that people are making jokes about this and being disrespectful of Michael and Farrah. I have received several text message forwards to my phone with sick jokes about the deaths.
