Mel Gibson getting a divorce

Mel Gibson and his wife Robyn Gibson of 28 years are said to be getting a divorce. Apparently Robin signed the papers last Thursday the day before Good Friday seeking joint custody of their child Thomas 9, and spousal support. They also have 6 other children Milo, 19, Louis, 21, William, 24, twins Edward and Christian, 26, and daughter Hannah, 28. At the time of marriage there was no prenuptial agreement so she is entitled to half of all that he has earned. There a rumors that he may be involved with another woman and possible paparazzi photos proving this.

I wonder who the other woman is. I heard a few years back that Marie Osmond had a crush on him. Think it's her? Hummmm....where are those paparazzi photos?? I had also heard awhile back that Mel Gibson really loved his wife, like forever and ever they would be together.

Yes I had heard that too, and they are both very religious people. Everyone is surprised that this is all happening at Easter time. There have been reports that the two have actually been seperated for a couple of years after his DUI arrest in 2006. This is the picture of the possible other woman

They do like kind of similar though. That must be his type. I read that the two had tension in their marriage for years. She didn't like his drinking and didn't want it around their children. It was obvious to friends of the couple that things had been very tense for a while.

Ok here is some updated info. Shortly after the divorce papers were filed, there was a leak that Mel has been spending alot of time with a lady named Oksana. At first it was thought to be three other Oksanas but now has been narrowed down to Oksana Grigorieva, 39 whom is a Russian singer signed to Mel Gibson's record label, Icon Records. She is also living in a house that is linked to Gibson. It is believed this is the same woman he was seen kissing in Costa Rica.

Last night Mel Gibson took his new gal pal Oksana out onto the red carpet with him. It came as a surprise to many seeing as we just heard word of the divorce. It is said thought that the couple has actually been seperated for the last three years so maybe Mel didn't think it was too soon to introduce his lady to the world, which by the way he has been with for quite some time. Here is a picture of them clearly together on the red carpet, they walked quickly and didn't stop for interviews.
