Taylor Lautner as Jacob

It is official, looks like Taylor Lautner will return as Jacob in the second movie "New Moon" of the "Twilight" series. There was a controversy as wether or not he would fit the part in the second movie because in the second book the character Jacob undergoes some radical changes in his appearance. He grows really tall and becomes really buff, which plays into his werewolf character. The author Stephanie Meyer is very happy about him returning in New Moon, here is a quote directly from her.

I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have.
