The Uninvited (2009)

This movie is about a young teen girl Anna (Emily Browning) who is just released from a mental facility. Anna had recently lost her mother in a fire causing her the breakdown, but now Anna's counselor thinks Anna is well enough to go home and back to her life. She returns home to realize her father has now invited his new girlfriend Rachel (Elizabeth Banks) to live with them in the home. While home Anna continues to have flashbacks and nightmares. Anna begins to be very wary of Rachel and begins to question her motives. The movie goes on with scary visions and interesting twists. The movie was better than I thought it would be. Sometimes scary movies can just be downright cheesey but this was good.
