Chris Brown Has Been Formerly Sentenced In Rihanna Beating

Chris Brown was formally sentenced today August 25,2009 in a Los Angeles courtroom. He will have to do 180 days of community labor, one year of domestic abuse counseling and also five years of probation. During the next five years he must also stay away from Rihanna, despite Rihanna wanting the restraining order lifted the judge chose to keep it in place. The judge also insenuated that she had heard of the possiblity that him and Rihanna had secret meetings and then asked him if he understood that he will have to stay 100 yards from Rihanna or if they are attending the same entertainment event he must be 10 yards away from her, Chris replied "yes" that he understood the restraining order. He will be allowed to do his community labor and domestic abuse counseling in his homestate of Virginia. In the courtroom he wore a dark pin striped suit and remained stern throughout. He will also have to pay a number of fees and fines and may be subjected to random search and seizures.

She apparently got upset and starting banging her fists against the dash after she saw that he had received a text message from an ex girlfriend or something. He beat her up worse after she threatened to call the cops.

I never understood the point of threatening to call police instead of just doing it without telling them.

I'm fairly sure they know you could call the cops before they do whatever it is that would make you say it. The first thing that probably goes through their mind immediately after doing is is probably along the lines of "holy crap I'm soo going to jail".

I think she wanted to call them but after she told him that she did he said "I'm really going to kill you now!" Scary business!

No the judge would not lift the restraining order and they aren't even allowed to be near each other.

Pfft. Judge smudge. How many couples do you ever see go through this stuff and not get back together behind everyones' back anyways ?
