Rapper Eminem Storms Out Of MTV Movie Awards Show

On Sunday Eminem returned to the spotlight and stage after being gone for some years. He performed the songs "We Made You" and "Crack A Bottle" from his album Relapse. Later in the evening Sacha Baron Cohen, dressed as his flamboyant character Brüno in angel wings and a barely-visible thong, descended on wires and landed face down in the rapper's lap. Eminem's bodyguards then pushed and pounced on Sacha Baron Cohen, and Eminem stormed out of his seat and left the awards show.

After speculation as to wether or not Eminem was in on this.

"Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged. They rehearsed it at dress [rehearsal] and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show," head writer Scott Aukerman confirmed on his blog.

Anyone listen to the Relapse album yet ?

It's definitely not the Hi my name is I remember seeing on MTV when I was a teenager.

I have only heard the songs that he performed from the album, haven't heard the whole thing yet. Have you? Is it good?

Eminem recently spoke with RapRador.com about the incident.

"Sacha [Baron Cohen, a.k.a. Brüno] called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag," Em said. "I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going 'nuts,' so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it."

Emenim was then asked what he did after he stormed out of the show.

"After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about three hours. Especially after I saw it on-air."

I listened to the whole album.

He can still rhyme and has plenty of outragous things to say, but he seems to have forgotten how to make it sound good.
