Last weekend, Susan Boyle was just a face in the crowd. This weekend, clips of her singing on Britain's Got Talent have notched up almost 50 million views on YouTube.

Her face appears on the front pages of papers in Britain and beyond, she been offered a seat on Oprah's sofa and has been told she is as good as guaranteed a worldwide number one album. Susan Boyle has appeared on Larry King's CNN show.

The rise of the 47 year old spinster from Scotland has been a true global phenomenon.

Wow is it just me or is anyone else kinda tired of hearing about this lady, at first I was like wow she is good and all but I think they have just dragged it out and I don't want to hear about her again until she wins the competition or something!

Yeah, I agree too. Sometimes it seems like it's all rigged, because where WAS she all this time?? Obviously she can sing, but it's like all of a sudden, stardom for her. Has she NOT ever made any recordings of her music? I think she's been around all this time, but to get some publicity, she made herself dorky looking, and everyone (who doesn't know her) thought oh no... another weirdo Simon will rip apart and boot off the show.
