Chris Brown assaults Rihanna

Crazy! I just read a developing story that Chris Brown assaulted his girlfriend Rihanna. Tmz is reporting that Rihanna's injuries were very serious and she suffered two "head contusions" that have swelled up on both sides of her head. She also suffered from a bloody lip and nose. The incident is said to have occured after a pre-grammy party around 12:30 a.m. sunday morning. An argument broke out in a car and they then pulled the car over where it escalated and Rihanna recieved her injuries. A 911 call was placed shortly after and Brown had left the scene. Both Rihanna and Chris Brown were scheduled to be at the Grammy's, I believe they were both supposed to perform and neither of them showed up. I am sure it is the least of Chris Brown's problems right now but Wrigley the chewing gum advertisement has suspended him until further investigation of the incident. I will update when I find out more information. This is just so sad

I just read a little more info. It was not Rihanna who called 911 it was someone else who had heard her cries. As far as her injuries, they have been described as "horrific" by those who have seen the photos that were taken by police at the scene. It is said that she did have bite marks on her arms and fingers. Rihanna said brown used his fists.

I just read on tmz that the initial argument started when Chris Brown recieved a text message from another woman about hooking up later. Also read that in the pictures of Rihanna she was hit so hard in the head that she could barely open her eyes. Oh and Chris Brown has been bumped from his weekend performance in Arizona and replaced with Nelly.
