Rihanna Felt Like Britney Spears

Rihanna is opening up for the first time since the domestic attack on her from then boyfriend Chris Brown. She is finally speaking out and says that she wants to be a positive role model for other women who are suffering the same abuse. Although Rihanna has been in the spotlight for a while now she said nothing prepared her for the days following the attack and the intense level of media attention she began recieving. She said she felt like she woke up as Britney Spears, because Britney recieves the same level.

I felt like I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears,” she said in a candid interview in the December issue of Glamour magazine. “That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. It was like, what, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can’t go back home?”

Rihanna will most likeley be named one of the Women Of They Year 2009 she said that the support of her friends and family are what has gotten her through this difficult time.
