Tony Romo Dumps Jessica Simpson One Day Before Her Birthday

Two weeks ago when People magazine had asked Tony Romo what he was planning to get his girlfriend Jessica Simpson of a year and a half for her birthday, he said shh "it's a secret". Well turns out he dumped her on July 9 the day before her birthday. Jessica had planned to have a "Barbie and Ken" themed birthday party, but it was canceled after the breakup and the lack of her now having a "Ken". Jessica is said to be

There has been speculation in the past that there was trouble in the relationship but they were able to work through it. This news comes not long after the announcement that her ex husband Nick Lachey and his girlfriend since 2006 Vanessa Minnillo have split as well.

On the night after the breakup when Tony was originally supposed to be at Jessica's Barbie and Ken themed birthday party he was seen out partying with some friends at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse. Witnesses said his table inside the club was full of people and he was seen chatting it up with some girls. His friends had decided to take out the recently single Tony to have a little fun before pre season training starts again on July 29th.

Nick Lachey commented on the breakup of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. He also had this to say about the stories of a reunion between him and his ex wife

The breakup is starting to get nasty. Apparently Tony has instructed the security in his gated community to not let Jessica in. There is a note that reads "RED ALERT!!! TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN….JESSICA IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS.

It not like Jessica was even planning on going there, the night after the breakup she paid $19,000 to overnight 37 of her boxes of stuff from his home in Dalas to her home in LA.
