Last night Playmate of the Year 2008 Jayde Nicole and boyfriend Brody Jenner were celebrating Brody's birthday at Hollywood hotspot Guys and Dolls. Jayde noticed that Joe Francis was harassing an ex girlfriend of his and she threw a drink on him. Joe then grabbed Jayde by the hair, punched her in the face and threw her to the ground where he then kicked her. After this an argument broke out between Brody and Joe and they were both thrown out of the club. Security would not let Brody back in to check on his girlfriend Jayde. Brody then saw Joe and punched him in the face, then an unknown person tased Brody and he fell to the ground. TMZ caught up with Jayde outside of the club where she showed her injuries. They include a swollen face, bruised cheek and ribs and a sore lower abdomen. Joe Francis is a convicted felon and Jayde plans to press charges on him.

He's a convicted felon ? For what, the tax evasion or underage girls in the shower bit ?

What's with all the women getting beaten up lately ?

I'm all for pimp-slappin women who think just because they're women they have to right to abuse you physically without getting the **** slapped out of them, but beating them like drunken street brawlers ? That's ridiculous, especially if all she did was throw a drink on him.

I read that he deducted more than 20 million in false business expenses on his 2002 and 2003 corporate income tax returns. He also got himself in trouble when he was in jail for offering a jail guard a $100 for bottled water, and when he refused he offered to up it to $500. After the jail guard reported the incident they searched his cell and found prescription pills including Lunesta and Lorazepam. They also found $700 in cash, which he was not supposed to have at the jail.

I do remember hearing about the bottled water incident now that you mention it.

We should really start making stuff like that available to inmates. I know, it's supposed to be jail and they're supposed to be miserable, but if we jack the price up, as the $100 offer for a bottle of water shows some people will pay, it would be at least somewhat of a boost to tax collections.

Let them burn up money on stuff in jail. Increase mandatory minimums to account for the loss of "this sucks" factor. Just completely cut them off from the outside world as far as business affairs go and keep visits few and far between.

People go crazy when they are alone, no matter how much stuff they have.
