Kim Kardashian's Cellulite

Kim Kardashian recently did a photo shoot for Complex Magazine. The photos from the shoot were leaked before the were retouched and now people are slamming her for having cellulite. This image goes to show how many of the pictures we view in the magazines are retouched and to strive for these celebrities bodies is unrealistic. I praise Kim for what she said when the photos were leaked.

i love kim! ya every picture is photoshopped and she still looks pretty damn good in the picture that has not been photoshopped. go kimmy!

What's the difference between Photoshop and makeup ?

Well I think that photoshop is where they can actually make someone look different by making them skinnier or changing their color and stuff like that. For instance, they could take out part of your leg to make you look slimmer. Another example of photoshop is this image. Some people believe they actually lightened Beyonce's color for this L'Oreal photo.

People have been doing that with makeup for ages though.

My point is that society has accepted makeup for all this time, why shouldn't we accept Photoshopped images ?

Well makeup just covers up imperfections, if that. Photoshopping can completely change a body which can give people who look up to these celebrities a false sense of body image, which they then try to achieve by starving themselves.
