David Letterman surprise wedding

Last Thursday David Letterman and his longtime girlfriend Regina Lasko married in Choteau County Montana. The bride wore a navy blue suit and the groom was dressed neatly despite getting his truck stuck in the mud on the way to the ceremony. The wedding comes as a suprise to David Letterman's friends and fans after he has publicly made comments that he would not marry again after his divorce in 1977. He was formerly married to his high school sweetheart Michelle Cook. Also there for the wedding was David and Regina's 5 year old son Harry. The couple had been together for 23 years.

Newlywed David Letterman gave a "Top Ten List" of reasons why he married his wife, Regina, on last night's episode of his Late Show.

Says the funnyman:

10. Poconos offers newlyweds free room with champagne-glass Jacuzzi.
9. If I'm gonna catch Larry King, I'd better get going.
8. Still drunk from St. Patty's, dude!
7. She needed a green card.
6. When you're my age and look like I do, if someone says they'll marry you, you do it.
5. Don't have to listen to any more crap from that quack Dr. Phil.
4. I finally fit into my dream dress!
3. Free cake
2. Got tired of waiting for Paris Hilton.
1. Figured at the least we'd get a mediocre Top Ten out of it.
