Heidi and Spencer break up

In the third episode of the fifth season Stephanie tells Spencer about a text message she received from Heidi about her running into her ex bf Colby while she was in Colorado and how much Heidi's mom wants her to get back together with him. At People's Revolution, where Lauren works, her boss Kelly Cutrone calls Lauren up to her office to discuss that she will be hiring a new intern and asks Lauren if she knows anyone who might be good for the job but advises her to be careful when referring friends. Lauren tells Stephanie about the position and Steph is excited but nervous. Heidi returns home from Colorado after three days and her and Spencer get into another argument where Heidi confronts him as to whether or not he has seen the bartender Stacie again, he tells her no. Stephanie arrives for her interview with Kelly and it doesn't go so well, Steph is obviously very nervous. Kelly decides to give her a chance but tells Lauren if it doesn't work out Lauren will be responsible for firing her. Spencer and Charlie go out to the club and meet up with Stacie and her friends. Steph and Heidi show up to the same club and Heide confronts him about being out with Stacie. Later Steph and Heidi have a conversation and Heidi explains she is not sure she wants to give Spencer another chance. Steph suggests they go to couples therapy. The next morning Heidi and Spencer have a serious discussion about their relationship and Heide gives him the ultimatum either couples therapy or they are breaking up.
