Last night was the finale of the new show "True Beauty". Julia was named the winner, I had thought she would win because she seemed to be the most consistent throughout the whole show. It was pretty funny because the contestants thought they were only being judged on their outer beauty, but the judges were also judging them on their inner beauty which I must say made for some pretty interesting tv!! It came down to the final three contestants last night who were Joel Rush, Billy Jeffrey, and Julia Anderson. In the final challenge the contestants go through an interview and a photoshoot with People magazine which they are all very obviously excited about. The judges choose Julia as the winner and she will now receive $100,000 and her picture featured in People magazines 100 most beautiful people.

I actually really liked Laura Leigh. I thought she was the prettiest. She seemed to be so friendly and positive throughout most of the show. I thought her and Billy were going to start dating. I was surprised when she started to have a really bad attitude at the end. I don't know that Julia should have one though, I mean in reality she was a pageant girl so she had an advantage. She was taught her whole life to be really charismatic and she was really pageant like through the show. Joel was way too cocky. I kind of think that Billy should have one.

I think Julia was a good choice for the winner. She did pass all 8 challenges (I think that is right), and I really never saw much negative out of her. I think she has the right balance of both inner and out beauty and I think the judges made a great call in the end. I wonder if there will be a season 2?

I don't know how there could be, I mean all of America that watched already knows contestants are being judged on inner and outer beauty so they wouldn't be able to fool the contestants again! Unfortunately because I actually really enjoyed the show, at first I didn't think I would! Must be nice to win 100,000 dollars!!!!

I don't know if you ever watched the show called Joe Schmo that aired on Spike TV around 2004, but it had a similiar plot in that there was basically a hidden agenda to the show.

I was thinking that there really couldn't be another show like that because there would be too many people that would know about it. Anyway there was a 2nd season, but after that no more.
