Ryan Seacrest 35 from American Idol, and Julianne Hough 21 from Dancing With the Stars are trying to keep quiet their rumored relationship but sources close to them are saying otherwise and that “things have gotten more serious over the last month.” The two have been spotted together numerous times over the past month. They were spotted together with their arms around each other on the beach in Malibu and also dining at L.A.’s Red O restaurant and shopping together at Alice + Olivia. Seacrest also flew into Nashville to see Hough perform at the CMA Music Festival on June 11, reported AceShowBiz. Looks like things are heating up for the unlikely pair.

Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson testified against her alleged stalker Robert O’Ryan today and her voice cracked when they showed her the knife that was found in the car of O’Ryan at the time of the incident. Inside the car he also had a shotgun and a bullet proof vest. O’Ryan is accused of breaking onto the studio lot where she was competing in Dancing With the Stars. During her testimony Shawn admitted that she was so scared of him that she had considered quitting the show, but she didn’t and she went on to win the dancing competition. O’Ryan took the witness stand and pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, he was on the stand for about 23 minutes and showed no reaction. If O’Ryan is convicted a judge will determine if he is legally insane, he could face up to four years in prison and two years in jail if if he is convicted of two misdemeanor concealed weapons violations.

Melissa Rycroft who you may remember as The Bachelor winner turned dumpee by Jason Mesnick will be returning to co-host the new ABC show Bachelor Pad with Chris Harrison. The show will premiere on August 9, and it will be set up in a Big Brother type fashion where the 20 former contestants will live together and compete in challenges for a chance to win $250,000, and, most likely, hook up. Rycroft will be there to help with the competitions and rose ceremonies. Since being dumped on the show Rycroft has gone on to do Dancing With the Stars and Good Morning America, Chris Harrison added that she was chosen because the two have remained good friends and that she is an obvious fan favorite. Melissa is now married to Tye Strickland.

Football player Chad Ochocinco left Dancing With the Stars last night after only being one week short of the season 10 finale. When asked how he felt about his departure from the show Chad said “To go up against the kind competition we had and come this far, I’ve already won.” Chad who was teamed up with two time champion Cheryl Burke also said “We kind of knew we were going home tonight,” Burke conceded to PEOPLE. “Our scores were so much lower [than the others] so we felt it was going to happen.”
“That’s why I am at peace right now,” Ochocinco said. “We had a great night last night and that’s the way to end it. That’s the way to go out. It would have been nice if we could have danced like that every week.” Chad plans to stay in touch with the entire cast and next up he will be on VH1′s reality dating show called The Tournament in which he will try to find a girlfriend amongst 85 women.

Recent rumors that Bachelor Jake Pavelka and the woman he chose Vienna Girardi are breaking up is simply not true according to sources close to the couple. The rumor was that the two had split after being in the spotlight when Jake was on Dancing With the Stars. Jake’s brother Jason and his friend Rachel Todd have come to the couple’s defense by saying “There’s nothing to the rumor that they’re breaking up,” Jason told RadarOnline.com. “I think Vienna is great. My wife and I went and stayed with them for four days and went to Dancing With The Stars. “After spending some time with her, we really like Vienna. She’s a good girl.” The couple are still living together.

Last night Pamela Anderson received the lowest number of votes which sent her home. Her costars on the show were very sad to see her go and she got many warm embraces from them as they praised her for being a wonderful contestant and friend. One thing Pamela did have to say about leaving the show is that “I can’t eat whatever I want anymore!”, referring to her training for the show. She also had to say “I’m going to stay in touch with everybody!” she said, adding that she’ll also miss “the challenge of learning a new dance every week! I liked that challenge, I love working really hard at something, so I’ll miss that. I will miss rehearsals; I’ll miss it all!”

Season 7 champion of “Dancing With the Stars” has been named as the new co host after Samantha Harris decided to leave the show in January to pursue other gigs. The announcement came this morning on “Good Morning America”. Fans of the show may remember season 7 when her and her partner Derek Hough took home the Mirrorball trophy. Brooke Burke is a mother of four and you may have also seen her on E!’s “Wild On!” series, “Rock Star: INXS” and, most recently, TV Land’s “She’s Got the Look.” It was rumored that she was up against former DWTS contestant Melissa Rycroft and Vanessa Minnillo. Maksim and Karina from “Dancing With The Stars” have not only called off their engagement, they have also completely ended their relationship. Maksim Chmerkovskiy 29 and Karina Smirnoff 31 got engaged on New Years’ Day in Las Vegas. Sources said to PEOPLE that the couple did not see eye to eye on when to have children stating that Maksim was ready while Karina was not and as the two were together they realized these differences. The two still both care about each other and will continue to work closely together in this upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars” which premieres on September 21.
