ABC has announced the hosts and cast of it’s new spin off called Bachelor Pad which will premiere on August 9th. The show will feature Chris Harrison and Melissa Rycroft as it’s co hosts and will have 19 former Bachelor and Bachelorette almuni from past seasons. The reality show contestants will face off in competitions for a prize of $250,000 and a second chance at love. The competition will feature different challenges in which a contestant will be voted off each week. Chris Harrison had said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that “We’ve always wanted to do an all-star edition. We decided to come up with just a kind of fun, don’t-think-too hard summer franchise.” He also added that the cast will be sharing “two or three bathrooms.” We put them in one house, sleeping in one room. You get this many hot girls and hot guys in one house and things happen!” The cast has been revealed and are as follows:

Tenley Molzhan – From Jake Pavelka’s season, she was runner up.

Gia Allemand – The 26 year old swimsuit model from Jake Pavelka’s season who made it to the final three.

Ashley Elmore – The 30 year old teacher from Jake Pavelka’s season.

Craig McKinnon – The 34 year old dental salesman and villain already eliminated from Ali’s season.

Michelle Kujawa – The 26 year old saleswoman sent home from Jake Pavelka’s season and known for talking too much about marriage and babies.

Jesse Beck – The 25 year old contractor sent home from Ali’s season.

Jessie Sulidis – The 25 year old cosmetic saleswoman sent home from Jake Pavelka’s season, also known for confronting Rozlyn Papa at The Women Tell All.

Jonathan Novack – The weatherman from Ali’s season.

Elizabeth Kitt – The woman eliminated from Jake Pavelka’s season after playing mind games with Jake.

Peyton Wright – Sweet 27 year old from the season with Andy Baldwin.

Kiptyn Locke – Runner up from the season with Jillian Harris.

Krisily Kennedy – Runner up from Charlie O’Connell’s season.

Jesse Kovacks – Wine maker from Jillian Harris season.

Gwen Gioia – Heartbroken by Aaron Burge on the second season.

Juan Barbieri – The 37 year old contractor from Jillian Harris season.

Natalie Getz – The 28 year old bartender who famously told Jason Mesnick “I like bears.”

David Good – The 28 year old who recieved the “man code” on Jillian’s season.

Nikki Kappke – From the season with Jason Mesnick.

Wes Hayden – Villain from Jillian’s season.

If you watched The Bachelorette last Monday we all saw the controversy that was surrounded one of the men Craig McKinnon who was let go that night in the rose ceremony. In a recent interview that Craig did he admitted that he “wasn’t interested” in Ali. He said that even when he saw that she was going to be The Bachelorette he still wanted to go on the show but mostly just for the experience. He feels he was painted as the villain but is able to sit back and laught at the whole thing and is not mad at producers saying it made for good t.v. McKinnon was aksed who he thinks is a good match for Ali and he believes that Kirk, Roberto and Chris L. all seem to be there for the right reasons and that is Ali. Craig says he is still single but that he is looking for a girl that “smart, easygoing, obviously attractive woman with a great personality and sense of humor. A best friend.”

Last night the new season of The Bachelorette starring Ali Fedotowsky premiered and we got to meet her 25 suitors. One guy that definately stood out was the one on crutches whom was also the guy all the men voted as being there to promote his wrestling and not there for Ali. Despite the vote Ali decided to give him a rose and keep him around. In the preview for the season we see that Ali is upset with one of the men for possibly having a girlfriend back home and rumors are circulating that it is in fact Justin “Rated R” Rego. Radar Online had an exclusive interview with one of the girlfriends Kimberly Kerekes who said “she didn’t know he was dating anyone else, and found out about his other girlfriend Jessica Spillas when she was contacted by her and questioned about her relationship with Justin. In the Radar Online interview we learn that “The two girls compared dates and timelines and realized they were both dating Justin Rego. Kimberly said that Jessica contacted ABC about being Justin’s girlfriend only after she learned about Kimberly being the other woman. The news that Ali finds out that Justin has a girlfriend at home was reported by Reality Steve and is the scandal of the season. According to the site, Justin makes it to the final seven guys, but is sent home on an out of country trip to Turkey when Ali learns about his girlfriends. Kimberly told RadarOnline.com that Ali found out about the two women when she received a phone call from the other girlfriend Jessica and that’s when she sent Justin packing.”

Tonight Ali Fedotowsky gets a second shot at love after appearing on last season of The Bachelor where she made it down to the final four and had to leave the show for work. Tonight we will get to see her meet 25 guys and she said this time she is choosing love and has left her job at facebook to be on the show. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. and only 17 men will be receiving roses. In post interviews about the show Ali will not reveal wether or not she found love or is engaged she will only say that she is “happy”.

Former Bachelorette star Jen Schefft is happy to announce that she is expecting her first baby! Her and husband Joe Waterman announced they are expecting their baby in November and are both “so excited.” Schefft rose to fame after appearing on The Bachelor in 2003 and winning the heart of Andrew Firestone. The couple split just days after the wedding of Bachelorette Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter after a 10 month engagement. Schefft then went on to star as The Bachelorette two years later in which she chose no one at the end. She met husband Waterman, a trader, on a blind date in 2008 and the couple married last May. Congrats to them!

At the end of The Bachelor After The Final Rose special that aired Monday Ali Fedotowsky was named as the next Bachelorette! Chris Harrison announced that Ali was loved by people all over the country and that is why she was chosen. Ali said “I am so excited!”"I am so thrilled and honored and grateful, I just can’t believe it! I’m just really grateful. Will you be watching this season?
